Many people hear doctors say that they “trained in plastic surgery;” but are these doctors Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery?

Plastic Surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery constantly critique their work; strive to improve results; and understand the subtleties of tissue. It is not just a matter of placing a flap in a tissue defect; but rather knowing how to finely tailor that flap along its blood supply and contour it into the defect.
